McHenry, Illinois (December 8, 2010) Western Hills Municipal Golf Course in Hopkinsville, Kentucky has chosen Crescent Systems' integrated suite of management software for their municipal club operations. The Club will utilize Crescent's pro-shop software modules anchored by Point-of-Sale, Inventory Control and Tee-sheet management as well as Integrated Credit and Gift Card processing.

Western Hills opened in October 1985 and is celebrating over 25 years of service to its community. With its Bermuda fairways and Bent grass greens, the Western Hills Golf Course layout is one of the top public golf courses in the area. Western Hills offers 18 holes of scenic but challenging golf with continuous improvements being made to keep the course inviting. Western Hills earned a 3 ½ star rating from Golf Digest Magazine.

The golf club was sold on Crescent's integrated system design and ability to provide information on sales, inventory and rounds in real time. Management anticipates the entire effort of servicing the patrons in the pro-shop to reporting to the City administration to be much more streamlined and save time and dollars with the Crescent software.

Western Hills offers its members and guests a well-stocked pro-shop complete with seasonal golf lessons and club repair services. The club also handles tournaments and events ranging from small informal outings to corporate tournaments - all handled by the club's management and pro-shop teams.
