Shelbyville Country Club, situated in the rolling hills of Shelby County, Kentucky, has chosen Crescent Systems as their club management software provider. They will utilize Crescent’s Point of Sale, Inventory Control, Sales Services, Tee Time Management and Ledger Link.

Founded in 1934, Shelbyville Country Club is more than just a golf course. It offers its members benefits and privileges that go beyond golf while encompassing a small town social atmosphere. The Country Club offers a full service golf shop, a junior size Olympic swimming pool, tennis courts and a clubhouse available for special events.

The 18-hole semi-private course is not long, but it is challenging. The “horseshoe” lake provides the foundation for the original course design by Buck Blankenship. Updates and reconfigured holes were added in 1974. With a limited membership base, you can be assured of an enjoyable round of golf even during the busiest months of the year.

In choosing Crescent Systems, Shelbyville totally updated and automated their Pro Shop, making use of Crescent’s easy-to-use Point of Sale, integrated Tee Sheet and online Tee Time booking as well as fully integrating the Member billing process, thereby economically enhancing member services. The Club also resolved back office issues as Crescent provides real time reports and interfaces to QuickBooks which allowed the Club to continue with existing operational procedures.
